‘All which is beauty is the result of harmony, without which there is but discord. Can you not hear the soft winds which play upon the slopes of undulating music, or feel the vibrance from a worded passage, or see the colours which define a thought? Each of these is given form by the sense of harmony. If you have a liking for a thing of quality, is it not so that you and the object share a like affinity? You have acquired the likeness of harmonious feeling.
Thus I would say to you, divorce yourself from that which you have not likeness for and fill your mind only with that which you find to be like. And there shall be built about you a screen of infinite fineness, which shall prove a shield from that which was a source of previous irritation. When you recognise this in another then also recognise now antagonistic vibrations are repelled, for you see the wondrous light of ‘presence’. Acquire it and it shall reach deep into the lives of those around you and illuminate the boundaries of your progression.
