The conscious being you call yourself is only the part of the greater whole. For the whole encompasses the complex greatness of soul quality, and you cannot understand the depth of that quality whilst you adorn a physical body. You can only attempt to see yourself and into yourself from the highest steps you can reach in the mind. As you ascend, stair by stair, so the gap between the states become more easily bridged. The biggest strides are the first ones, for as the great truth becomes a tangible clarity so the progression becomes easier.
